Time clock apps without per-employee fees

Short answer
Most time clock apps charge for every employee, every month. A few don't: KioskClock is a flat $10 a month for up to 25 employees and $25 for unlimited; Homebase charges per location; Connecteam's base fee covers the first 30 users; and Jibble has a free plan. Everything else we checked charges per user.
Why per-employee pricing adds up
A price like $5 per user per month sounds small. For 25 people it's $125 a month, $1,500 a year, and it rises with every hire, seasonal worker or part-timer who only works a few shifts. Some apps add a monthly base fee on top.
Flat pricing turns that into one number that doesn't move when your team does.
Time clocks that don't charge per employee
Checked on each vendor's pricing page:
- KioskClock: free for up to 3 employees, then $10 a month flat for up to 25 and $25 a month flat for unlimited. Employees scan QR badges at a shared tablet.
- Homebase: priced per location. Free for up to 10 employees at one location; Essentials is $30 / month per location for unlimited employees.
- Connecteam: free for up to 10 users; the Basic plan's $35 / month base fee covers the first 30 users, then $1 per extra user.
- Jibble: a free plan for unlimited users, with limits on kiosks and locations; paid plans are per user.

KioskClock's plans differ only in how many active employees they cover. Every plan includes printable badges, any number of time clock tablets, timesheets, corrections and Excel or CSV export.
