How it works
KioskClock turns any tablet into a time clock and every employee's badge into a QR code. Here is the whole setup, start to finish. Most businesses are done in about two minutes.
- 1
Add your crew, no account needed
Tap Start free and type your employees' names. That's all we need: no emails, phone numbers or employee accounts, and no sign-up yet.
- 2
Print the QR badges
Open Print badges and print on plain paper, sticker labels or card stock. Each badge has the employee's name and a unique QR code. Laminate them or slip them into badge holders.
- 3
Scan in, scan out
Try it right away: hold a badge up to your camera, or tap one on screen. The first scan clocks in, the next clocks out, with the name and time on screen. At work, employees do this at a tablet by the door.

Keep it
Happy with it? Enter your email and we'll send a 6-digit code. Your crew and the badges you printed are saved to your account. No password, no card for up to 3 people.
- 5
Set up the tablet
From your dashboard, open the time clock link on the tablet (or scan the pairing QR code shown on your computer). Allow the camera and leave it at the door or break room. Add it to the home screen for a full-screen clock.
- 6
Review and export
From any computer, see who's in, fix missed punches and download hours for the pay period as Excel or CSV for payroll.

Setup questions
What tablet or device do I need?
Any iPad, Android tablet or laptop with a camera and a modern browser (Safari, Chrome, Edge or Firefox). Nothing to install: open the time clock page, allow the camera, and leave it running. USB and Bluetooth barcode scanners that type into the browser work too.
Do employees need an app, an email address or a password?
No. Employees never create an account or install anything. Their printed badge is all they need. Only the business owner signs in, with a one-time code sent by email.
What if someone forgets to clock out?
The dashboard shows everyone who is still clocked in and flags shifts that have been open unusually long. You can set the correct clock-out time in a couple of taps; edited shifts are marked so your records stay honest.
What happens if an employee loses their badge?
Reissue it from the Employees page and print a new one. The old QR code stops working immediately, and the employee's hours history stays as it was.
Does the time clock work without internet?
The tablet needs an internet connection when someone scans, because every punch is saved straight to your account. If the connection drops, the screen says so and the employee can scan again a moment later.
Can I use more than one tablet or location?
Yes. Set up as many time clocks as you like and disconnect any of them from Settings. All punches land in the same timesheets.
