Homebase alternative
KioskClock vs Homebase
Updated
Short answer
Homebase is a free-to-start scheduling and HR app for hourly teams, priced per location. KioskClock is just a time clock: employees scan a QR badge, with no PINs or app. For 11 to 25 employees KioskClock is $10 a month vs $30 for Homebase Essentials; under 10 at one location, Homebase's free plan costs less.

Two different jobs
Homebase bundles a time clock with scheduling, team messaging, hiring and optional payroll. That's useful if you want one app for running hourly staff, and it means more setup: employee profiles, PINs and usually the Homebase app on employees' phones.
KioskClock only clocks people in and out. You type names, print badges and leave a tablet at the door. If you already schedule on paper, in a spreadsheet or in your POS, it adds a time clock without changing anything else.
Choose Homebase if…
- You have 10 or fewer employees at one location and want a free plan
- You want scheduling, team chat and hiring tools in the same app
- You want payroll from the same company (a separate paid add-on)
Choose KioskClock if…
- Everyone clocks in at the same place, and you want that to be one scan
- You don't want employees installing an app or remembering a login
- You want one flat price that doesn't grow with every hire
- You need clean hours for payroll, not a full HR suite
